Le Youth debuts first Locals Only release, ‘Boomerang’ [Free Download]

Le Youth has a penchant for mixing laid back house music with retro vibes, a skill that has earned him a steady following in his niche of electronic. Amidst a busy tour schedule, the LA-based artist follows up his remix to Goldroom’s “Embrace” with celebratory single “Boomerang,” the first release on his new imprint Locals Only. The new cut feels sunny in nature, with downtempo kicks surrounded by groovy piano melodies and electric bass accents that paint a mental image of driving down a coastal highway. Ty Beckham’s cheery vocals tie “Boomerang” together as her high range of notes pairs nicely with the song’s ethos.
