Louis Futon unveils new mix series and tour dates
Louis Futon is shaping up to have a big year in 2016. His recent release “Wasted On You” has proven to be hit and gained serious traction since its release in February. Building off this strong start, the Philadelphia native has released the first episode of his new mix series, “Zoned Out,” and announced a series of tour dates through April and May.
“Wasted On You” kicks off the first volume, clocking in at a little over 45 minutes in run time. The futuristic mix features numerous intriguing mashups of artists from different eras, as well as featuring a significant portion of Futon’s esoteric originals and reproductions. Most intriguing is the debut of his remix of Rüfüs Du Sol‘s “You Were Right.”
The 12 tour dates also reveal a truly national affair, making multiple stops on both coasts as well as the interior. Of particular note are the four dates where Futon will be joined by Big Gigantic.
