Sasha and John Digweed to officially reunite for The Social Festival

The rumors are true. The duo that helped shape the landscape of modern dance music is reuniting.

After showing up to play with John Digweed at Ministry of Sound on Easter Thursday, Sasha will officially join Digweed at The Social Festival September 9-10.

After teasing fans of a reunion on April Fools day, the dance music legends are confirmed to play the festival’s first two-day event in its four year history. Friday, September 9, Sasha and Digweed will play a B2B set headlining the Mixmag sponsored Meadow Arena. Capacity will be limited to 5,000 customers.

“Its been incredible to see the reaction from our unannounced back to back gig in London last month which took everyone by surprise, so our planned B2B set this September at The Social is set to be a massive not to be missed event in the clubland calendar.” – John Digweed

“Very happy to be playing with John again and blown away by the excitement around our comeback. It’s fantastic we get to do our first proper gig back at the Social festival. Last year’s was a brilliant event and so much fun. Can’t wait.” – Sasha

Meanwhile, Saturday will see Carl Cox play the same stage. But perhaps even more exciting is the fact that Social Festival will boast a new home this year in The Kent County Showground, an agricultural space just over an hour outside of London.
