Stream Gallant’s debut album ‘Ology’

The two-year period separating the release of rising R&B star Gallant‘s self-released debut EP Zebra and his debut artist album Ology saw the meteoric rise of one of the most talented crossover artists in recent memory. Many in the electronic sphere learned of Christopher Gallant through his gorgeous and unexpected chart-topper “Weight In Gold,” which saw endless remixes in the latter half of 2015 and helped land the artist on our list of 25 Artists to Watch in 2016.

Ology solidifies Gallant as a modern R&B innovator, eschewing the confines of any one genre in favor of a unique blend of nostalgic and contemporary sounds. Soul, electronic, and alternative elements are deftly drawn together throughout the album, rendering each track simultaneously fresh and familiar. Ology is out April 6 on Mind Of A Genius.
