Bridging the gap between future bass and R&B, TastyTreat enlist Santa Barbara-based vocalist Choice for their newest original release, “Simple Things.” True to its name, the duo keep the record’s beat clean, yet infectiously poppy. Using a similar strategy as they did in their track “For A Minute,” TastyTreat’s tasty future bass is laced with a house beat that provides bright and cheerful sentiments, seemingly egging the track on to greater heights. “Simple Things” is available as a free download here, and tickets for TastyTreat’s hometown show in San Luis Obispo on May 4 are available here.
