Classixx – Safe Inside Feat. Passion Pit (Original Mix)
It was just around three years ago that LA-based duo Classixx lent a scintillating, nu-disco hand to Passion Pit’s anthem, “Take A Walk.” Ultimately, their re-imagination of the track begged the question — how had this pairing not happened sooner?
This past February, when Classixx’s revealed a track list for their forthcoming album, it gave word of a future collaboration with Passion Pit. Now weeks away from the release of their album, they’ve chosen to share the track. Titled “Safe Inside,” the collaboration is at once easygoing and richly saccharine, finding their styles pairing as fluidly as ever.
Classixx’s album, Faraway Reach, is out June 3.
