It’s been quite the ride for Sam Lassner, better known under his stage name Prince Fox. After blowing up online through his various remixes of Sam Smith, Cazzette, and Felix Jaehn, the NYC producer went on to sign to Casablanca Records, release his debut EP Musings, and travel all over North America for his first headlining tour. With an exploding fan base behind his future pop brand, Prince Fox heads into summer with the release of his biggest single yet, “Fragile,” with pop sensation Hailee Steinfeld.

While the genre-melding producer has proven his ability to find the sweet spot where future bass meets pop through his remixes, “Fragile” really exhibits a true convergence of the two in original form. While Prince Fox serenades listeners with an irresistibly catchy topline, he simultaneously constructs a foundation of powerful yet atmospheric synth inflections to ultimately end up with a production that is refined and raw.
