Is this the weirdest Boiler Room set in the history of weird Boiler Rooms?

The Boiler Room has never been equated with normalcy. It’s not uncommon to witness some of the most outlandish music and dancing from any corner of the globe. With that said, DJ Scotch Egg’s live performance from the Boiler Room Berlin takes its eccentricity to entirely new levels. In fact, it may very well be the weirdest Boiler Room set in the history of weird Boiler Rooms — which includes this one from Pharoah Chromium performing dissonant ambient music in a golden squid mask.

A little background on DJ Scotch Egg. Born Shigeru Ishihara, he’s a Japanese 8-bit / gabba producer living in Berlin. For his Boiler Room debut, he performed his chaotic brand of electronic music with 4 gameboys and a flower apron in tow — all the while cooking some pancakes. No joke. Perhaps best of all, the crowd is right there with him the entire time, moshing along joyfully to his set.
