Deadmau5 shows off mau5heads collection in episode 2 of the deadmau5 project

Toronto’s favorite son deadmau5 is known for quite a few things beyond being a singularly talented producer and international superstar. He offers tips and insight into his process to other producers, is branching out into video games, hosts his own radio show, and is the head of his own label, mau5trap. He’s also never been shy about getting into Twitter spats with other artists. Beyond all that, though, the producer born Joel Zimmerman has his iconic mau5heads.

In the second episode of his collaboration with technology company NVIDIA, deadmau5 gives fans a glimpse at his hallowed collect of heads. The producer goes into some of the technical aspects that goes into creating the helmets, each of which is handmade, and shares anecdotes of his time performing while wearing them — including some of which were less than safe.
