Dreamstate to make New York debut
Insomniac harnessed trance’s fervent fan base in 2015 with the introduction of Dreamstate, their newest concept catering specifically to the genre. Unlike prior lineups where only well-known acts were featured, Dreamstate focuses on the more underground, cutting-edge artists revolutionizing trance in contemporary times.
Following two widely successful festivals in California, in addition to separate standalone events and hosted stages at recent festivals, widespread demand from the East Coast has led Dreamstate to migrate over to Brooklyn, New York as part of its 2016 tour. The two-day festival will debut in the same one-stage format as it had done in California, bringing major artists including Astrix, Standerwick, John O’Callaghan, Markus Schulz, and John 00 Fleming to the Big Apple on August 26 & 27.
The announcement follows another major development for the San Bernardino leg of the festival, which will be expanding to three stages for its second year in November.
