Josh Young launches his Flosstradamus offshoot Me2 with ‘Steal This Mixtape’ [Free Download]

Josh Young and Curt Cameruci have conquered the world as Flosstradamus. They have established HDYNATION, a legion of relentless fans built from the ground up, begun releasing music on their own imprint, and played a critical role in the rise and definition of trap music. Now, one half of the duo, Josh Young, is exploring uncharted territory with a new project known as Me2. Introducing his newly minted solo side project with his sister, veteran Chicago rapper Kid Sister on “R&D,” Josh Young has officially launched Me2 with a free hour-long mixtape released via Fool’s Gold Records.

Returning to where Flosstradmus got their big break, Me2’s official start arrives by way of A-Trak‘s Brooklyn-based imprint with Steal This Mixtape — a fifty-minute mix of heavy-handed trap and hip-hop from one of the genre’s most noteworthy factotums. In nodding to Flosstradamus’ infamous “Soundclash” with his own VIP edit, Me2 laces together a thick arsenal of original tracks that he’s had up his sleeve, offering his formal solo introduction completely pro bono.
