Steve Aoki to remix classic Dragon Ball Z tracks for new video game

The classic anime and television franchise Dragon Ball is rebooting their video game series after launching the first sequel television series in 18 years, Dragon Ball Super, in 2015.

Cake-tossing DJ Steve Aoki will be lending his production prowess to the game series with remixes of a few classic Dragon Ball Z tracks, “Cha-La Head-Cha-La” and “We Are Power.” Steve Aoki will also see his likeness as an in-game character with which players can interact at the game’s hub city.

About his impending participation in the game, Aoki stated “Having grown up with Dragon Ball, I jumped at the chance to contribute my talents and leave my personal impact on the series.”

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is scheduled to release on October 25 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and October 28 for PC. Take a look at the trailer in advance of the game’s release this fall:
