Flume’s groundbreaking sophomore LP Skin is — unsurprisingly — still making the rounds. With the official remixes to the album just surfacing now, Skin is primed to receive some serious momentum throughout the rest of the season.
One of the most anticipated remixes of the impending collection is Illenium’s spin on “Say It” — Flume’s contagious pop ballad with Tove Lo. Illenium has recently been road-testing the forthcoming remix to great results. Now, a new video has arrived of the Colorado producer performing the remix at a recent show in San Jose, and the crowd’s reaction speaks for itself.
While the remix isn’t radically different from the original — or Flume’s style for that matter — it takes the best elements from the composition and elevates them, offering a potent future bass rendition that is sure to be a highlight amongst the official remix collection.
