The DA Hot 25: August 10, 2016

The DA Hot 25 is the definitive playlist series running through dance music culture and hand-delivering you with the essential tracks of the week. Whether it’s the hottest or quickest trending tracks, brand new music from your favorite artists, or songs from the unknown that should be landing on your radar, Dancing Astronaut brings you 25 carefully selected records that reflect what’s happening in our world.

This week saw major collaborations from DJ Snake & Justin Bieber, Flux Pavilion & NGHTMRE, A-Trak & Tommy Trash; as well as standout remixes from Marshmello, Unlike Pluto, 3LAU; and dancefloor-driven house from Duke Dumont, Blonde, and Cedric Gervais. Additionally, we’ve provided our picks from within The DA Hot 25, highlighting two standout tracks.

The Heat of the Week: DJ Snake – Let Me Love You (feat. Justin Bieber)

Just coming off his monster collaboration with Major Lazer and MØ, “Cold Water,” Bieber returns with a second crossover dance-pop alongside multi-platinum hitmaker, DJ Snake, called “Let Me Love You.” Seems like the commercial crowd will have to decide which Bieber collaboration they like more over the next couple of months.

The Breakout Select: Prince Fox – Oxygen (feat. Michelle Buzz)

Dedicated to his late god-grandmother, Republic Records’ rising star, Prince Fox, continues his pipeline of future pop originals with “Oxygen” featuring Michelle Buzz.

Tune in each Wednesday, exclusively on Apple Music, where The DA Hot 25 debuts weekly on our curator page.
