deadmau5 compiles 54-track playlist of his recent favorites
Deadmau5 clearly excels at multitasking. Among projects which include a Beats 1 residency, finishing his album, and beginning preparations for an expanded live show with Eric Prydz, the Canadian stalwart also found time recently to curate a playlist of his current favorite hits.
The 54-piece “For Lack Of A Better Playlist” was posted to Spotify not too long after We Are Friends Vol. 5 surfaced, and thus serves as a good promotional tool for the mau5trap compilation as well — Matt Lange’s remix to “Hell Is Other People” and No Mana’s “Someone To Write About,” for example, make the cut. Other pieces featured include Lane 8’s “Fingerprint,” “Ruby” by Cirez D, and Maceo Plex’s emotive single “Solar Detroit.”
