Sign the petition to save Fabric London

An official petition to save Fabric has been posted on Change.org, directly addressed to London’s mayor, Sadiq Khan. Following the recent deaths of two teenagers at the venue, the temporarily-closed Fabric is currently on an ongoing month-long review which will end September 6. With the threat of a potentially final closure looming on the horizon, Fabric promoter and long-time resident DJ Jacob Husley created the petition, in which he explained the importance of Fabric as a cornerstone in the UK’s club scene, as well as the global nightlife and music community.

Mayor Sadiq Khan gave a statement last week that he would work to find a way to keep the club open and implement new safety measures to avoid another tragedy. Despite the optimistic statement, artists and club-goers have expressed remaining concerns over the potential closing. The petition surpassed its original goal of 1,000 signatures within the first hour after its creation, and now aims to reach 75,000 signatures. You can sign the petition here.
