Steve Aoki to be cryogenically frozen when he dies

Steve Aoki feeds off attempting the impossible. In his own Netflix documentary, I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, viewers gain a window into the cake-throwing personality’s non-stop, jet-setting lifestyle of playing over 300 shows a year and touching every corner of the world in the process. Aoki recently sat down for a follow-up interview with Rolling Stone to talk about the documentary, his upcoming collaborations, and his personal quest for immortality that includes having his body cryogenically frozen.

Aoki revealed he has already arranged for his body to be cryogenically frozen once he passes in hopes of science either reviving him full-form or implanting his brain into a computer. He will pay around $220,000 to Arizona’s Alcor Life Extension Foundation to preserve his body at sub-zero temperatures in hopes that science will advance enough to bring him back to life at a later date.
