TroyBoi x Grandtheft – Sneaky (Original Mix)

TroyBoi has seen his stardom rise with ferocity ever since his 2015 collaboration with Flosstradamus, “Soundclash,” helped to earn him notoriety outside of his London home base. The producer’s brooding style soon led to successful collaborations with Diplo and powerful originals of his own. Now, Troyboi has teamed with Toronto-based producer Grandtheft for a new trap anthem, entitled “Sneaky.”

As can be expected, the track has a palpable darkness to it. A subdued intro soon gives way to rumbling bass and a buzzing, elastic lead that combine with the track’s percussion to endow it with a start-and-stop energy. The producers also make sure to constantly, but subtly, alter each successive drop with enough variations to maintain forward-momentum and listener interest.
