As bedroom DJing continues to pick up steam on a global level, it’s becoming more commonplace to see young candidates trying their hand at mixing. DJ RENA is one of the most impressive of this prodigious breed, and shows in the video above that he means serious business.
At only 11 years old, DJ RENA is already extremely comfortable behind his setup and has a handle over his equipment that gives most working DJs a run for their money. In the short performance, hosted on DJ City, the young turntablist shows off his skills by mixing and cutting together The Noisy Freaks’ remix of Jamiroquai’s “Virtual Insanity” and Run DMC’s classic track “Walk This Way.”
