Catch a glimpse of unreleased Flume in Australian car ad [VIDEO]

As if the massive success of his sophomore album Skin wasn’t enough, Flume recently announced he would be releasing a four-track Skin Companion EP in November. With snippets of each track already revealed, anticipation remains high. A new glimpse of the EP, however, comes from an unlikely source.

Australian automotive manufacturer Holden has enlisted Flume’s track “Trust” for use in one of their new ads. Given the hype surrounding the companion EP, not much is revealed in the video and, somewhat frustratingly, the ad’s characters are speaking over the track the majority of the time. However, off-kilter drums, siren-esque synths, and a shifting vibe from rolling electronics and mellowed out pianos is noticeable throughout the placement. The track also features female vocals at the end, perhaps belonging to one of Flume’s Skin collaborators, such as Kai, Tove Lo, or Aluna Francis.
