Listen to 5 classic Sasha & Digweed sets

Next week marks a significant occasion in the dance world: the formal reunion of Sasha and John Digweed. The two legendary progressive house icons will join forces for an official back-to-back set from The Social Festival in England. The appearance marks their first festival appearance together in over six years.

Back in March, Sasha made a surprise appearance at Digweed’s Ministry of Sound gig, immediately igniting reunion rumors. The pair fueled the fire on April Fool’s Day by posting a reunion status, which, fortunately for everyone, was more than just a cheeky ruse but an actual announcement which the pair confirmed the following week.

In honor of the reunion, we’ve highlighted five classic sets from the pair spanning a nearly 20-year long period. The first, for instance, is taken from 1997, where Sasha & Digweed laid down an upbeat, trance-inspired set from Ministry of Sound in London. Further sets include a 3-hour performance from 1999 in Twilo, New York, as as well as 2001 appearance from Fabric. We’ve also included their 2004 Essential Mix, live from Renaissance, as well as a more modern set from WMC in Miami in 2010 — one of their final appearances before their hiatus.
