MGMT hint at 2017 comeback
There’s something exciting happening in electronic dance music right now. As 2016 draws to an end, fans’ nostalgia for many of dance music’s most beloved acts will be satiated. Justice and Gorillaz both have plans for a momentous year in 2017. Now, MGMT have joined their ranks by hinting at plans for a comeback campaign next year.
MGMT took to Twitter to tentatively announce their intention to re-emerge next year, though official details about the band’s comeback are currently sparse. The group previously alluded to a reunion at the end of 2015, but have provided no details since. Now, with the Oracular Spectacular proponents ready to “re-dominate your mind hole” next year, expect 2017 to be an exceptionally memorable year for dance music.
