Armada has acquired Borgore’s Buygore imprint
Amsterdam-based record label Armada has just made a new acquisition: Buygore, the bass-leaning imprint from Israeli producer Borgore.
“We are thrilled to start working together with Borgore and his team at RedLight and SLVYLL,” said Armada Music CEO Maykel Piron. “He has cemented himself among the industry’s finest artists within a matter of years and we feel that having such a strong-minded individual on board could prove to be a massive boost for all of us, both on a creative and personal level.”
The deal should come as no surprise to Armada aficionados, given that the label has become known for embracing various genres of music (from classic trance to forward-thinking electronica). In keeping with the theme of change, the next single slated for release via Buygore sheds light on a new creative direction for Borgore. Title “Best” and set to drop November 4, the track will be followed two weeks later by a collaboration between Borgore and rapper Juicy J.
