Fabric announces #saveourculture fundraisers through end of 2016
UK’s Fabric nightclub is about to step up its fundraising game throughout the remainder of 2016 as part of its #saveourculture fund. With a slew of benefit events scheduled through December, Fabric is gearing up for a string of opportunities to raise money to combat its forced closure. Having already raised over £284,000, the famed nightclub will allocate its monetary support toward legal fees to appeal the city’s decision.
#saveourculture fundraisers include a benefit art exhibition featuring the work of Fabric’s in-house photographers, a Fabric 90 launch party hosted by Scuba and a special appearance from Ricardo Villalobos at Great Suffolk Street. Inspired by the venue’s Friday and Saturday programming, its full roster of events caters to all music fans in favor of preserving this small, yet mighty culture we call electronic music.
