“Soft” is not a word that exists in Julian Jeweil’s musical vocabulary. Known for his dark, pounding take on techno, the French wizard has signed his latest destroyer, “Myli,” onto Insomniac Records in celebration of this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). Solid kicks oozing with heavy reverb greet the ears, giving way to even more percussion and simplistic, yet tense synth melodies that magnify the track’s intensity. “Myli” is best wielded during peaktime sets in the darkest of venues, where it will easily level the dance floor.

Julian Jeweil will be playing during the ENTER. presents EXPERIENCES. showcase this year at ADE on October 21. Demand for his live presence only continues to grow as he releases consistent records with the kind of pungent sounds that make them easily recognizable and memorable.
