Launchpad: 14 instrumental tracks for studying and work

The Launchpad is a biweekly series showcasing hot new music hand selected by our staff. The tracks in these curated playlists come from both underground and mainstream artists that we love. If you’d like to see your music featured in the Launchpad, you can submit it for consideration here.

This week’s list is a series of instrumentals ranging from dark and moody, synth heavy tracks to fully ambient soundscapes.  While these 14 tracks draw from a range of influences across subgenres, all are perfect for moments of concentration or meditation or a fall afternoon spent reading.

Highlights: Lasko’s dreamy “Ascent” kicks off this week’s list, blending future bass vibes with layers of blissed out texture while Asava’s “Bodhi” offers a Ratatat-esque, guitar heavy track.

EP1Pro’s “Cudi Sound Zone” also makes the cut. This downtempo, hip hop inspired track is just one of more than 60 tracks available for free download on the producer’s SoundCloud page.

Rounding out the list are CallumDr’s “Red Lights” and Diego Raposo & Seyer’s collab, “Maybe.” The former is a thoughtful track with reserved drum line and lush background synth work. The latter is an upbeat future bass-inspired track with more than a handful of interesting samples built in.
