Martin Garrix surprised a fan with a plane ticket to his show in Amsterdam

Martin Garrix‘s new nickname should be ‘Good Guy Garrix.’

One dedicated fan, Chris McPhadden, was about to give up his tickets to one of Martin Garrix’s shows during Amsterdam Dance Event because he couldn’t afford transportation to Amsterdam. Before cutting his losses, however, he pulled a Hail Mary and tweeted Garrix about his predicament.

“I bought the tickets to his show when they first went on sale because I was afraid they would sell out,” McPhadden said, “but I went to Sziget in Budapest in August, and traveled America in September, and the flights had went up 300 euros, and I couldn’t afford them anymore, so I chanced my luck with Martin – and well, luck of the Irish he replied.”

Garrix responded by offering to buy McPhadden a roundtrip flight from Dublin to Amsterdam and back again. Talk about paying it forward.
