Eric Prydz announces first EPIC 5.0 performance

Eric Prydz’s EPIC live shows have become just as legendary as the Swedish producer himself. While it will be difficult to top his back-to-back set with deadmau5 at Tomorrowland — with more collaborative shows potentially in the works — Prydz has revealed the time and venue for the premiere of Epic 5.0: Creamfields‘ massive 20,000 person Steel Yard stage production, relocated to London for a May 2017 performance.

The gargantuan stage caused quite a ruckus when it was announced in April and Prydz will be intimately familiar with it — he performed at the venue during the 2016 edition of the festival as his Cirez D alter ego. Prydz made the announcement via a short video posted on his Facebook page, available below, and from the brief glimpse offered, Steel Yard seems the perfect locale for EPIC 5.0’s first run.

EPIC 5.0 notably marks the only European EPIC show in 2017, and will serve as the largest EPIC event to date. Prydz previously commented on the EPIC 5.0 production, remarking: “Whenever the show comes out, it’s going to blow your head off.”
