Pulse Nightclub DJs and bartenders show their support to LGBTQ community at EDC Orlando

Nearly five months after the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, the Pulse nightclub community in Orlando, Florida is still coming to terms with the terrorist attack that took place in what is supposed to be a safe space for all to celebrate love. But in the midst of this tragedy, Orlando’s overwhelming response of love and support has inspired national attention for everyone to come together and, more importantly, started a conversation about acceptance, not just tolerance.

With the sixth installment of Electric Daisy Carnival kicking off this weekend (November 4-5), Smirnoff Sound Collective has teamed with the Pulse community to celebrate their #LoveWins campaign at the all-inclusive and multi-sensory Smirnoff House inside the festival. Today (Friday) from 1pm-5pm, DJs and bartenders from Pulse nightclub will be spinning, pouring and interacting with attendees including a special reveal of the official #LoveWins mural as well. DJ Simon, DJ Ressie Cups, DJ Infinite and DJ Flawless are set to take over the decks.

In addition, for each person that visits the Smirnoff House today, $5 will be donated to Equality Florida Action, Inc., a social welfare organization dedicated to securing equality and justice for Florida’s LGBTQ community.

Electric Daisy Carnival Orlando takes place November 4-5 at Tinker Field. Friday tickets still remain.
