New club Schimanski will open in Verboten’s former location in November
Rumors that a new club called Schimanski was moving into the space left vacant by Verboten have been confirmed. The club will open to the public some time in November 2016, but the club hosted a pre-opening party on October 31 in advance of the club’s official launch date.
The club’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages are all active for the club, which is named after a fictitious police officer in a German crime drama. The venue, which was purchased in July for $1.2 million by former Pacha NYC owner Eddie Dean, will be “dedicated to the creative ethos of Brooklyn and serve as an outpost for the global dance music scene.”
