The Chemical Brothers have unveiled an off-kilter video counterpart to November 4’s release of their latest work “C-H-E-M-I-C-A-L.” The simple, plotless video is directed by Adam Smith, a longtime video production collaborator with the iconic duo, and features images from children’s TV shows.
The inherently familiar characters are oddly soothing, while the overall style of the video is reminiscent of the duo’s mind-elevating live shows. The track and video release come a few weeks after The Chemical Brothers announced that they will be issuing much of their discography on vinyl.
To close out the year, the pair will be playing an abbreviated series of live shows in the UK in support of their 2015 album Born In The Echoes. Check out the video above:
