deadmau5 achieves his highest entry on the charts ever with ‘Let Go’
Canadian DJ and producer deadmau5 has returned to Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (not that anyone should be surprised by the news). Coming in at #11, his recent release “Let Go” featuring Grabbitz is his highest-peaking song yet, outscoring both “Phantoms Can’t Hang” (#16, 2014) and “Infra Turbo Pigcart Racer” (#20, 2014).
“Let Go” garnered 3 million streams in the U.S. alone between December 16 and December 22, an increase of 1,155% according to Nielsen Music. Coupled with him achieving a third #1 album on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart for W:/2016ALBUM/, the accomplishment closes out the year strong for the mau5.
As for Grabbitz, “Let Go” is his second Billboard chart hit; his first was “Turn Around” which made it to #26 in 2014.
