Eric Prydz announces new Pryda album to be released in 2017

Eric Prydz has had an overwhelmingly successful year in 2016. In the past year, Prydz tested the limits of live electronic performances with his stunning EPIC 4.0 tour, finally released his debut album (as well as numerous EPs and singles under his alter-egos), and reignited his EPIC Radio series. Furthermore, the artist set a moral example within the scene when he raised $60,000 at a benefit show for late super-fan James Lillo, who passed away from cancer earlier in December and provided the inspiration for Prydz’s latest track, “Lillo.”

Prior to today, December 31, there was no question that Eric Prydz would continue his inspiring prolific streak in 2017, given his previously announced forthcoming live endeavors – the debut of EPIC 5.0 and the reprisal of his legendary live partnership with deadmau5. However, on the last day of 2016, Prydz has further increased his fans’ excitement for the coming year with the announcement of an upcoming Pryda album. While en route to Decadence festival in Denver, the artist posted the following message to his social media accounts.

Eric Prydz won our “Artist of the Year” award for good reason in 2016; before the year has ended, he’s already beginning to make a compelling case toward earning the honor again in 2017.
