Eric Prydz officially dedicates track to fan who passed from cancer
Eric Prydz is putting the cap on a tremendous 2016 with his final EPIC Radio of the year. Episode 17 of his fan-favorite mix series includes five unreleased tracks, a few of which were first debuted last weekend at his benefit show in Los Angeles for superfan James Lillo who tragically passed from cancer. The final track in mix is titled “Lillo”: a personal dedication to James.
Prydz said of the track: “In the days leading up to these events that we did for James, I locked myself in the studio to write a lot of new music. This track that I’m going to play to you now is a track that I’ve dedicated to James Lillo. It was really nice to see that so many of you guys who were there when I played this track understood what this track was.”
The track will be released in the next few days, with all proceeds going to James’ charity of choice: Cancer Research Institute. Listen to it below, along with the full EPIC Radio.
