Flume releases his cover of ‘My Boo’ with Vince Staples

Flume stopped by Australia’s Triple J station amidst his Skin tour for a miniature live performance. After playing his smash hit “Never Be Like You” with Kai’s assistance, the future bass pioneer proceeded to impress with a cover of the 1990s classic “My Boo” by Ghost Town DJs.

Joined by Vince Staples and other talents Kučka, Ngaiire & Vera Blue, Flume whips the affectionate vocals into a distinctive contemporary dance clip oozing with silky synth accents and deep bass. Vince Staples’ verses heighten the modern feel of the piece, resulting in a refreshing re-interpretation of the original.
