Launchpad: 12 future house tracks to jumpstart your weekend

The Launchpad is a biweekly series showcasing hot new music hand-selected by our staff. The tracks in these curated playlists come from both underground and mainstream artists that we love. If you’d like to see your music featured in the Launchpad, you can submit it for consideration here.

It’s Friday and that means this week’s edition of our music discovery series is a playlist of some of the most exciting and emotive house tracks out right now. Whether you are in the mood for getting ready for a big night on the town, or just a casual hangout with friends — we definitely have you covered.

Highlights: Out of the gate is Plastik Funk’s bangin’ track “Ever” which offers itself as a blissful future house masterpiece. Its vocal chops and groovy basslines are bound to get any listener up and dancing. Next up, Mixre’s remix of Tchami & Malaa’s “Prophecy”. This incredibly bass-heavy remix packs a familiar punch to the original and it certainly keeps the weekend spirit propelling forward.

A little over halfway through the playlist we see a slight mood shift with Left/Right’s very recent rendition of Radiohead’s “Codex”. The Left/Right remix takes listeners on a journey through beautiful piano chords, broken beat and euphoria.
