Pendulum tease reunion; first live show revealed of 2017
Contrary to Rob Swire’s previous assertion that Pendulum are not reuniting in 2017, evidence appears to be mounting to suggest the opposite. The first inklings of the legendary drum ‘n’ bass act’s comeback arrived in October, when it was announced that they’d be playing a New Year’s Eve show in Perth, Australia for Origin Festival. This announcement followed their Ultra Miami reunion set in March. Next came EDC Mexico 2017’s lineup, where Pendulum’s name appeared as a DJ set for the February gathering.
Now, a festival in Austria has confirmed another appearance from Pendulum, albeit it as a live act. The band will be performing live at Nova Rock festival, which commences on June 14.
Most enticing of all, however, Pendulum shared a new photo on Facebook reading: “2017.” While the outfit has yet to officially confirm a reunion next year, it seems as though an announcement is most certainly coming in the not-too-distant future.
