Kaskade to be featured in first episode of UCLA & Tumblr’s new series, ‘Office Hours’
With an acute focus on music education, UCLA has teamed up with Tumblr to give students the opportunity to learn more about the music industry through a new web series. “Office Hours” invites prominent artists and entertainment executives share their career insights on how to break into the business.
The first of six episodes are set to air tomorrow, January 19, featuring world-renowned producer and Arkade label-head, Ryan Raddon, better known as Kaskade. Raddon has said the following of his upcoming feature:
“I’m excited to talk shop with the students at UCLA who are looking to get into the music industry. It’s inspiring to see the faces and hear the voices of the people who are next, and I’m always up for sharing my experiences, both good and bad.”
“Office Hours” will be hosted by Steve Baltin, a music journalist who has previously worked with major news outlets including Billboard, Vice, and Rolling Stone.
UCLA students and faculty will have the opportunity to join “Office Hours” live. Admission to the series’ seminars is free for students and faculty with a valid UCLA ID, though registration is also required. Those who meet these qualifications, can register here.
