The BPM Festival announces inaugural Portugal and Brazil legs

With The BPM Festival well underway and two days already complete, the leading underground dance music brand has revealed its plans for global expansion. Later this year, The BPM Festival is heading to Brazil in April and Portugal in September.

“Obviously we’ve been doing this festival now for ten years,” say The BPM founders. “A couple more gray hairs every year. What a great ten years it’s been. We’re really happy to present BPM Brazil, and thats going to be in April.”

Festival directors Alessandra Axelsson, Craig Pettigrew and Phillip Anthony Pulitano have long considered bringing The BPM Festival to other corners of the world. Following ten glorious years of unparalleled house and techno along Playa del Carmen’s shores, the trio’s dream of global expansion is finally coming to fruition.

Already, The BPM Festival’s 10th anniversary has seen hallowed showcases like Knee Deep in Sound, Ants, All Day I Dream and YA’AH MUUL take place. There’s no telling what the next eight days in paradise hold.
