Tomorrowland recruits Richie Hawtin, Dixon and more in third lineup phase
Like any well-crafted series, Tomorrowland‘s episodic lineup announcements become increasingly captivating with each new update. Yesterday, January 24, the Belgian dance music mecca added the names of techno mavericks Maceo Plex and Sven Väth as well as mainstream draws such as Martins Garrix and Solveig.
Today’s third phase of the lineup is easily its most exciting yet – particularly for fans of techno and house. A staggering number of industry leaders have been welcomed into the fold including Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Dixon, and Jamie Jones. Techno luminaries Ben Klock, Tale of Us, Rødhåd, and Joseph Capriati have also been welcomed into the fold in the tertiary lineup installment.
While saturated with an astonishing techno roster, Tomorrowland’s third lineup phase also has broader appeal. Steve Aoki, Kaskade, and Laidback Luke are among the updated lineup’s most commercially appealing names. So, too, are festival regulars Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Fans of hardstyle will be pleased by the inclusion of genre leaders Coone and Da Tweekaz, while bass music fans will be attracted to Slushii’s appearance.
Tomorrowland have given themselves a tough act to follow for tomorrow’s fourth lineup phase, but if history serves as any indicator, they’ll deliver resoundingly.
