Calvin Harris’ Frank Ocean collaboration seems to feature Migos’ Offset
Near the end of January, Calvin Harris previewed an unreleased collaboration with Frank Ocean via Snapchat. Presumably one of the ten songs Harris has alleged he will release in 2017, the joint effort with Ocean is likely to gain significant airplay – particularly given the commercial and critical success which the singer’s long-delayed Blonde album received in 2016.
Today, February 20, Complex uncovered another significant detail regarding the preview which had gone previously unreported. Apparently, Migos member Offset is also to be featured on the aforementioned track. A new fan-ripped video shows footage from the same Snap Story which Harris used as an avenue to announce the Ocean collaboration, that seems to have a verse from Offset before transitioning into the Odd Future singer’s hook.
Given the resounding success of “Bad and Boujee,” and the rest of Culture, the addition of a Migos affiliate to Harris’ Frank Ocean collaboration ups the ante once more for the song’s charting viability.
