A fitting celebration of street art and culture, Alex Mills‘ music video for “Be Somebody” sees the artist get down to her new single in subways, alleyways, and urban rooftops. This track, released near the end of January on Ultra records, is one of Mills’ first solo releases on a major label. The UK-native has also collaborated on tracks with Hot Since 82, Chris Lorenzo, and Tobtok.
“Be Somebody” features confident vocals by Mills herself, uplifting piano keys, and a popping future bass line. Shots of Mills dancing throughout a colorful urban landscape suit the track very appropriately, implicitly entreating viewers to be somebody themselves.
