Watch This: Black Tiger Sex Machine unveil brand new stage show for ‘Music Is Our Religion’ tour
Masked men turned futuristic electronic dance force Black Tiger Sex Machine have not rested on the gimmick factor of fancy helmets. The electro heavyweights have continued to fly a flag under their unique brand of live and recorded work, but have aspirations to take things up a notch for 2017. Launching into the New Year with the announcement of their biggest ever North American tour to date, the Music Is Our Religion tour will not only pair the act with Dabin and Kai Wachi in more than 20-cities nationwide, but will also see the trio debut a brand new stage show and visual identity along the way – fresh helmets included.
Describing the refined stage show to Dancing Astronaut via email, the trio explains: “We modeled the new stage after the tiger eyes. The eyes, video wall and lighting are mapped to our live show equipment, which we adjust on the fly to keep our performances completely fresh and live. Our helmets are mapped to drum patterns that we control in order to fit the music and adapt to the crowd. We’ll change the color of the eyes, along with the lighting patterns to fit our brand new visuals.”
