Zedd to announce ACLU benefit lineup, date and location tomorrow

A substantial faction of the international dance music community are among the many dissenters of President Trump’s temporary travel ban, signed as an executive order on Friday, January 27. In the days since, many artists have swiftly enacted their own personal forms of protest to the polarizing legislation. Four Tet, for example, celebrated the musical contributions of artists from the seven countries included in Trump’s ban with an eclectic Spotify playlist.

Perhaps the most public DJ opposition to the immigration ban thus far has been Zedd’s conception of an ACLU benefit concert. Saturday, January 28, the US-residing German artist put the wheels in motion to hold a show with proceeds going to back the ACLU, who have adamantly challenged Trump’s order in court. While the details of the show are unannounced at press time, Zedd  pledged, “I WILL make it happen.”

Now, the producer has announced that his benefit concert is rapidly taking form, stating the show’s location, date, and first lineup phase will be announced tomorrow, February 2.

We will provide further details regarding the show when they are officially announced.
