Deadmau5 to receive exhibit at Canada’s National Music Centre
Canadian dance music icon deadmau5 has had quite a busy March. After unveiling Feed Me as his supporting act for the upcoming “lots of shows in a row” tour and showing off his latest Cube 2.1 stage design, the producer has now been honored with his own exhibit at Canada’s National Music Centre.
The exhibit itself features a cheese mau5 head, puma T-shirt and jeans – an instantly recognizable combination for Joel Zimmerman’s many fans. According to the Centre, “deadmau5 chose Lance Thackeray’s Cheese Head design as the winner—favoring its humor and simplicity.” The head was also featured by Rolling Stone magazine in 2012 and was also worn by deadmau5 himself.
