Drake samples Black Coffee’s ‘Superman’ on new album ‘More Life’

While the Kanye West feature will steal the spotlight on Aubrey Graham‘s newest LP More Life, the Canadian megastar’s revamp of Black Coffee‘s “Superman” is a highlight of the full-length release.

“Get It Together,” the LP’s fifth track, employs the same lyrics and beat as “Superman” but vocals from rising UK chanteuse Jorja Smith replace Bucie. Graham sings on the new arrangement, exploring a new side of the South African house DJ’s creation.

With “Get It Together,” Drake shows his knack to support newcomers and hints at his affinity for London hip hop and R&B voices. More Life boasts other notable UK features Giggs and Skepta on its 22 tracks, which are meant to play like a mix rather than as an album.
