HARD Summer reveals dates and location for 10th anniversary of the festival

Despite HARD Summer’s struggle to nail down a permanent home over the past few years, the event has done a commendable job of growing into one of Los Angeles’ premier dance music festivals over the past decade. LA County’s adversity aside, Gary Richards’ HARD brand has become a powerhouse curator on the summer circuit, and this year they’re preparing to celebrate their flagship festival’s 10th anniversary with its biggest edition yet.

Returning to last year’s venue, Fontana, California’s Auto Club Speedway on August 5 – 6, HARD is bringing back their newly-added camping component for the festival’s tenth edition, along with some expected modifications to the event grounds this year.

Since its infancy as a one-day alternative dance billing at LA Historic Park in downtown Los Angeles in 2007, HARD Summer helped introduce the likes of Justice, Rusko, Tiga, and SebastiAn to the American market. Fast forward to less than a decade later, and the event has featured some of the biggest dance and hip-hop acts on the planet, from The Weeknd to Tiësto. The HARD Summer lineup typically drops in creative fashion right around the Coachella kick off every year. We expect they’ve pulled out all the stops for what’s bound to be a special edition of the festival.
