Pilo – New Energy [Free Download + Sample Pack]

Since collaborating with Boys Noize on “Cerebral” in 2015, James Cameron Ward has been a staple of the Boysnoize Records imprint as Pilo. The young American producer has carved out a niche for himself in creating a forward-thinking spin on dark techno and industrial music that easily qualifies as prodigious.

On May 5, Pilo will release his long-awaited Flourishes EP on BNR, but ahead of the extended player, he has chosen the share its first single, titled “New Energy.” Released as a free download, “New Energy” explores erratic rhythmic structures, cerebral synthesis, and ominous industrial sensibilities. Alongside the single, Ward has released a sample pack for producers to download for their own creative outputs.
