Matt Halper & Eli Sones began their musical endeavors when the pair were just in high school, and have continued their partnership as Two Friends since graduating college. With an ever-growing catalog of remixes and originals released on labels like Spinnin’ Records and Armada, the LA-based duo have dabbled in a variety of sounds from progressive house to piano-heavy house to future bass.
With a new original called “Emily” out now, Two Friends have stopped by Dancing Astronaut to introduce a good majority of their catalog in an hour-long mix to introduce their music to some who may have not heard of them. From their Internet-praised remixes of Blink 182 and Tove Lo to their first two originals “Forever” and “Overdose,” this mix showcases the rising pair’s knack for giving old favorites an incredibly catchy twist and being able to stand on their own with numerous originals.
