The first weekend of Coachella flew by in what felt like an instant to the legions of attendees and, as per usual, it packed a hefty punch of surprise guest performances and celebrity appearances. As its landscape continues to shift into a more electronically-inclined direction, heavyweights from the dance scene became some of the event’s primary icons and most talked-about acts, with some artists like Porter Robinson and Madeon dominating prime slots on the main stage.
Other artists on the bill took their brief time at Coachella to create unforgettable sets with the help of celebrities, like DJ Snake in bringing Lauryn Hill onto the stage with him for a mini jam session filled with Fugees classics. Steve Angello and Martin Garrix debuted brand new music in their sets, while underground acts like Richie Hawtin and Solomun satiated the cravings of house & techno fans.
Luckily, many of the sets have been recorded for those in attendance — and those who missed out — to relive. Below is a comprehensive list of sets we’ve been able to recover thus far, which will be updated as more come available.
